Over the years of organizing this annual celebration, MVPACES is blessed to have the full guidance of the City and the District of North Vancouver, through the North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission, providing the festival each year with both financial and logistical support. The Philippine Days festival now enjoys the recognition as one of the official summer spectacles in the North Vancouver community events calendar.
ABS CBN, the Philippines largest media network, has been a constant partner and co-presenter of the event. They provide artists and entertainers coming directly from the Philippines, drawing a huge attendance each year from the Filipino audience, and by their international broadcast of the event through TFC – The Filipino channel.
PHILIPPINE AIRLINES - the official Carrier of the Philippines, is a long-time benefactor of the event, providing annually the grand raffle prize of a round-trip ticket from Vancouver to any part of their flight route in the Philippines.
Concessions: Food & Merchandise Vendors
The annual Philippine Days Festival attracts thousands of visitors and attendees each year from all over British Columbia and outlying areas, gathering in one venue various communities of all ages.
For over ten years of the event, it has proven to be a profitable investment opportunity for established food service enterprises and businesses benefitting much with optimal exposure from a significantly large audience, coming non- stop for two days to the festival.
Corporate businesses locally and even directly from the Philippines take advantage of introducing their products and services to this fastest growing community in British Columbia. Practicing professionals of various industries also establish presence by renting booths and providing raffle promotions to the general public during the stage program.
HOW TO JOIN
MVPACES invites you to “own the event” and be an event sponsor in any of the four levels of sponsorship: RIZAL (Co- Presenter level), BONIFACIO (Platinum level) MABINI (Gold level), and DEL PILAR (Silver level). Each of these levels has corresponding promotional values. (For instructions on how to become an Event Sponsor, kindly refer to Form 1: Sponsorship Investment/Promotional Packages under Section “APPLICATION FORMS”.
If you own a business, engage in retail or sales, a practicing professional, or simply want to make your presence felt – for optimum exposure, or to gather leads and generate a database, you may wish to rent a booth for the 2-day festival. Each booth rental package includes one (1) 10ft x 10ft marquee tent, one (1) 3ft x 6ft table, and two (2) folding chairs. (For instructions on how to become a Booth holder, kindly refer to Form 2: Festival Booth Space Application under Section "APPLICATION FORMS ".)
Food Booth Rental
If you are engaged in the Food Services business and wish to rent a space in the Food Court Area, you will likewise need to fill up also a Temporary Food Services Application to obtain a permit from Vancouver Coastal Health as a requirement before you can sell food at the festival. (For instructions on how to complete this, kindly refer to Form 2a: Temporary Food Services Application under Section "APPLICATION FORMS ".)
Insurance: All Food Vendors are also required to provide proof of their own insurance coverage (including a minimum of $5 million liability coverage per occurrence and listing the District of North Vancouver, City of North Vancouver, School District#44, and the North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission as Additional Insured’s)
Event Souvenir Magazine Advertisement
The Philippine Days Festival event also produces a Souvenir Magazine for those who wish to promote their products and services through print advertising for better recall. Some 2,000 copies of this magazine are printed and distributed in Metro Vancouver and on the actual event all through the week leading to the festival.
